Is there ever going to be an update to version 3.21? Seems we are in the midst of a dry spell here.

There will probably not be a new release for at least a couple of months yet.

Could you provide a list of features? It will be a minor update or a major update? I do hope it's the second...
I'm particularly interested in built-in iCal compatibility (and possibly support for direct publication/modification of calendars from vCal apps like Apple iCal, etc.) and in enhanced plug-in system to easily authenticate and integrate CalendarScript with other scripts and membership systems.

** Could you provide a list of features? **

No I can't as I'm not the author.

** enhanced plug-in system to easily authenticate and integrate CalendarScript with other scripts and membership systems. **

I doubt Matt has plans for either but if you post a *detailed* request of exactly what you're looking for in the Suggestions and Ideas forum, maybe he'll see it before the starts working on an upgrade?

Damn he promised a major new version several months ago... A simple update from him wouldn't hurt

I thought you were looking for something more extensive??

From what he related to me, he currently has other projects on the go which will take most of his time for at least several months.

JFYI

Sorry guys... there is a partially-started updated on my development machine, but I didn't get very far. To make a long story short, my wife is now 7 months pregnant and it's been an extremely long year. There are medical issues, and my son will need specialized care after he is born. It's a stressful time.

I haven't abandoned CalendarScript, and I will address any important issues that come up (like the zombie process eating cpu, which I'm aware of and started looking at). Unfortunately, the way the last year has gone hasn't been conducive to developing and supporting additional releases of the program.

I hope and plan to continue development, but as of right now I'm just not able to have any idea of when that will happen.

Matt
