Hi there, I'm using the original EmailNotify plugin (NOT the new "2" version), and it's working fine with one very irritating problem.

The domain name is "mhsmi.org", and as you'd imagine, the email notifications are supposed to be sent to "xxx@mhsmi.org".

The notifications work perfectly if sent to NON-mhsmi.org email addresses (for instance, if I have it set to send them to an Earthlink.net account, it works fine), but for some reason it *won't* send them to the actual domain name that the script is hosted on.

I've tried it with the Sendmail path set to both "sendmail" and "/usr/sbin/sendmail", which is the full path, and it works exactly the same way in both cases--it sends notices to non-server addresses, but *not* to addresses on the same server. No error message or anything, the email is just never sent.

One important thing to know: the email for this domain name is hosted on an *internal* GroupWise server, while the web hosting is hosted on a standard external Apache/Linux server. I presume that this may have something to do with the problem?

Any ideas or assistance would be greatly appreciated!

If it works Ok to other domains, the problem is likely on the server end in which case you should contact the network administrator or web host to see if they can help. I don't know that there's anything anyone here will be able to do for you without specific information on how the network or web or mail server is set up. Sorry.
