I use the Copy-Event plug-in all the time, but continue to experience a weird issue.   It finds old events that were entered years ago in addition to the ones listed on the chosen month.   It eventually gets around to loading the current month's events and does the copy procedure fine, but the load time is becoming unbearable, due to the non-pertinent events.   Is there a fix for this?

My installation works correctly although it also displays events that were added but never scheduled. This note appears under the Start Date - Time column header for those unscheduled events, "Not Scheduled Yet!".

If that is what the 'extra' events you're seeing also have, just delete those events as they aren't even on the calendar anywhere anyway. They can't be without having a corresponding schedule for them.

Thanks for the reply Dan.   That's what I am seeing as well.   Is there an easy solution to removing those old entries that are "Not Scheduled Yet"?  I assume these are entries visitors have began, but not finished.   Therefore, they don't show up on the "edit/delete" list because they aren't officially on the calendar.

Use the Non-Scheduled Events plug-in available from the Unofficial CalendarScript - Mods and Plugins site.

Dan,

Thanks so much!  This worked great - although it took ages to remove 5,000+ "Not Scheduled Yet" events that had piled up over the 10+ years we've been using CalendarScript.   The "Copy Event" plug-in works like a charm now.   Thanks for your continued work on this useful program!

Check them on a regular basis to keep your calendar efficient. The more events listed, the more work the server must do to display the calendar.
