I am wondering if it is possible to embed html in the description for an event either in the standard product with some kind of "escape" characters, or if there is a MOD out there that would do this.

I would like to be able to put live links, or tables, or whatever, into descriptions occasionally.

If you turn on the ability in the template administration section, yes it is possible to use HTML code in input fields.
