anyone have any suggestions how to ad a rotating banner to the calendar? i have a script i use currently that uses SSI, and my server would require that i change the default.html to default.Shtml...

anyway anyone know a way around this? or a banner rotator that works well with the calendar script???

You'll need to customize the calendar script template to display the banner in whatever spot of the screen you want it displayed.

I haven't used a banner manager personally, but heard from a friend of friend that phpadnews ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/phpadsnew/ ) was the bomb.

I doubt that would work as I'm sure the server would be expecting a normal HTML file with a .shtml file name extension and not a CGI script using such a file.

Is there no way to include such an ad using just HTML code rather than SSI? Most banner rotator scripts allow such a call in addition to an SSI call. Alternately you could use an iframe tag in the calendar template and call an .shtml from it which would then call your banner ad script.
