I can login & administer things just fine from one of my laptops and a family member's iBook with no issues.  But from a new Dell laptop I can login OK & get whatever menu I have permissions for, but then no buttons work: I see a "waiting for..." but never any connection.  As I said, everything works fine from other machines, but not this one.  I've checked every setting I can think of, both laptops running XP Pro w/ service pack 2, same internet settings, Explorer browser, etc. I can get to Edit Events, for example, see the list for the current month, but clicking on any of the buttons (Edit, Delete, etc.) does nothing. I can get another month listed in the drop down window, but the "go" button doesn't connect through.  I'm "waiting" for the command to go through - never does.  Same issue any other menu.  Can't "Edit" a name of the user list, for example.
What would cause this issue on 1 laptop but not others?

** then no buttons work **

Most (if not all) of the form 'buttons' in the script rely on JavaScript to submit the request. Make sure JavaScript is enabled in the browser that is malfunctioning. Some ad blocking or anti-spyware browser add-ons might stop them from working as well.

Thanks, but Javescript latest version is enabled, & no pop-up blocker, and no different security than the other PCs.  No luck still.  Will let you know if I dscover the problem....
