I'm new to the calendarscript and would like to use it in some websites I'm working on, but have a few questions about what I can do with it.

1) Can I create separate calendars for each department and then have them all funnel into one calendar for the whole agency that shows all departments' events?

2)If I can't do that, is there a way to easily color code the information on one calendar. Is there a way to set it up so it will automatically color code events based on the author? (ie: everytime "Sara" logs in and posts an event it will be in blue text, everytime "Pete" logs in and posts and event it will be in green text.)

3) Is there a way to pull the information from the current day and have it post to the front page of the website? For example, if i wanted a snippet on the front page of "whats going on today" with a list of events and a link to the actual calendar.

Look at the Meta Calendar plug-in at the Unofficial CalendarScript - Mods and Plugins site.

If you have SSI available on your server, you can include a list that way. For help on using SSI with CalendarScript, see the forum message links under "SSI related" at the above site.
