The calendar seems to default to matching all terms entered in a search field. Can this be changed to matching any term entered in a field?

For example let's say you want to find events that are either "here" or "there". You would then, in the location field type, "here there" and receive a list of events happening at either location.

Ideally set up something similar to the forum search where there is a radio button for AND and OR type searches so it doesn't screw up searches for multiword locations like Los Angeles or Chapel Hill.

Maybe but probably not easily.

The script can be set up to do a 'simple' search where only a single search field is presented rather than individual ones. See the previous forum message "Simpler Search" for more about that.

Thanks for a quick reply!

I've read through the other thread a few times and it doesn't sound like it solves the issue of searches being AND based. If there were a solution that used the same search boxes but allowed for OR searches that would be perfect.

No doubt. But as far as I'm aware there isn't a ready made solution. If you want or need it, you may have to develop it yourself.

Unfortunately, the only thing you can count on my developing is grey hair and gas.

Joking aside, thanks for taking a look.
