Good Day

Is their a way to get the calendarscript program to search on a exact match only option? when I do a calendar search now using pro I get all the listing that have pro in them.

I have found a fix to display all results by date ascending descending etc and things are (very neatly now) but can't get our calendar to seach on exact match only

Thank you all!

It might be possible but I don't know what modifications would be necessary. I believe the code needing altering would either be the sub search routine in the Event.inc file or the sub simpleSearch routine in the DBFile.pm file.

Thats odd maybe I'm not explaining clearly

This calendar program has a search feature for calendar events
when I do a search for lets say "pro" you get results for propane etc you get the point
you would think havening the ability to search for a  exact match would be a common sense
thing to have for a calendar

I did find a code fix to have a ascending or descending order of search results by date but that should also be a common sense
way of writing this calendarscript program NOT A FIX

I'm not a perl expert by any means that reply of yours above might as well be in Chinese , but if anyone else really knows about the writing of code, I can follow directions if available, I would like to purchase this Calendar Script and support its forum but I also need the calendar events to be searched properly by users, THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT THING TO BE ABLE TO DO!

Maybe it will be an option in the next version. As it stands, it isn't in the existing one, sorry.

If you want to try to make sure such a feature gets into a future version, maybe make a request in the Suggestions and Ideas forum?
