After a fresh install on a Windows XP machine, I get the following error when I run debug.pl:
"There was a problem creating a temp file in the 'session' directory. Make sure that the directory has correct permissions!.
The error was: Permission denied"
I have checked file system permissions (no read-only) and iis Virtual Directory properties (Read, Write, Directory Browsing, Execute Permissions = Scripts and Executables).
Ant ideas where I may have missed something?

Thanks

OS = XP SP2
Browser IE 6
server error log? this is a desktop running iis, is there a server log?
I didn't use ftp, copied files manually
I did not change BASE_DIR ( I tried this but only made things worse so I put it back to default
I have poured over documentation and FAQs, if my answer was there, I missed it.

I am not familiar with Windows IIS server so hopefully someone else will drop by and offer an opinion.

Just a guess... Are all the files inside the cgi-bin directory? Is so, you might want to move the files (besides the executables) to another location on the server. Not all server setups allow data files inside the cgi-bin.
