Help.  I'm using powweb as my host and I can't get past the Administrator password change.  It keeps looping back and saying the session expired.  My site is:
http://TheBikerJoint.com/cgi-bin/calendar_admin.pl

I found some old post that said this is a problem with the web provider's date/time setting.  I contacted powweb and they said it is set correctly to PDT.  I'm in CDT - does this make a difference?

No. Cookies' dates are set in GMT time.

I don't know where the problem might be but check your browser security settings and any security apps that might be preventing cookies from being set. It may also be possible that the sessions directory has improper permissions set for it and the calendar can not write session data to a file there.

You're not the only one having this issue, but I think this is Powweb's fault.  I had this message in my Powweb announcements...

andromeda's file system is currently read only while we perform maint. on that machine. Write access should be restored in approximately 8 to 10 hours.

Hopefully they will be done soon!
