I am trying to set up a events calendar for a non-profit.
many of our new community events need to be advertised on our website before people volunteer to set them up and thus are not scheduled on the calendar yet.

I know i can add the event to the calendar system and not post a date on the calendar until later.  but how can i get this announcement of a new event onto the ssi.html feed?

that is, the ssi.html page only parses to show stuff on the calendar with a  date set up.  how do i hack this system to show all events, even if they are not scheduled.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

** how do i hack this system to show all events, even if they are not scheduled. **

You could try using the hack discussed in the previous forum message, "Schedule Later?" as a starting point to display unscheduled events. The formatting of the resulting page however will be nothing like the SSI template.

It also only retrieves the current month's events... along with the non-scheduled ones.
