I have installed the Split Recurring Event plug-in. And if I select the "schedule" button for a recurring event, I get the pop-up warning me that schedule edits will effect all occurrences  for that event.

My question is this:

All I want to do is to use the Split Recurring Event plug-in to splint recurring events so they will all show up correctly when a person searches for an event that happens to be recurring.

Once I go to the "schedule" button for a recurring event, I pressed the "Save" button.  The event is no longer recurring.  Is this what I should expect?  The red asterisk beside the event is now gone. So I lost (for my record keeping) that it is still "sort of" a recurring event. I cannot see on the edit panel which events have been split.  Is that what I should expect?

What surprised me is that on the edit panel, it looks like ALL events for the month I have selected that were recurring are no longer recurring. At least the little red asterisk that was there is now gone from all events on the page I am viewing.  Maybe its just my confusion.

Here is what I did:

1.  Login to the Calendar and select "Edit"
2.  On the edit screen I am now looking at, I see 5 or 6 events with the red asterisk.
3.  I select the first one and I press the schedule button.
4. I get the pop-up warning me about scheduling recurring events.
5. I see the schedule for the event and I press the Save button.
6. Now I go back to the edit screen, and there are not any more red asterisks left on the events for the month I am editing in.  I know before I did my edit, there were 4 other red asterisks. But now there are none.

It appears as if something has happened. I am just not sure what.

Thanks
Bryan

** Once I go to the "schedule" button for a recurring event, I pressed the "Save" button. The event is no longer recurring. Is this what I should expect? **

Yes. The plug-in is splitting the recurring event into single events. It is no longer a recurring event.

** I cannot see on the edit panel which events have been split. Is that what I should expect? **

Yes. However, if you were to then try to edit one of those spilt events, it should ask you if you wanted your change(s) to affect all previously connected events or just that particular one.

JFYI
