I would like to utilize this calander with an external application.

We have a Change Management system (Remedy) that I would like to push events from.  When a Change is approved, through it's own approval process, I would like to push the dates and event information to the calendar.  I will not be able to use the web interface, since this needs to be an automatic thing.  Has anyone ever done anything like this.

Thanks

Tom L.

Not that I've heard of.

Since the calendar uses the currently logged calendar to post the events to, you would have to do something to circumvent that as the 'state' is maintained using cookies and also do something about the built-in restrictions to posting events without being logged in at all.

I'm sure something could be devised but it is likely much more complicated than could be supplied here in the support forums. If you'd like to hire my services, you can contact me via email.

If you want to attempt it yourself, you might look into the 'Import Events' CalendarScript functions.

Thanks for the reply DANO.  I think that I will look at running WEBDAV with an ICAL calendar.

I have looked into that importing events process.  It might be too complicated of a process for the simple need.

Thanks again.
