I finally got my calendar up and running, then tried to add a calendar.  I get the error message:

Error: Couldn't copy file [/home/"my-account"/cgi-bin/calendarscript/calendars/_template/_notes]
The error is: [Operation not permitted]

"my-account" replaces the actual account name for security purposes.

What I find is that:
_notes shoud be a folder, but is created as a file instead
permissions are all wrong (different from the default)

If I create the folder _notes and fix the permissions, I can actually execute the calendar from the command line.

However, calendar_admin does not see it, cannot manage it.

I have tried using a short all lower-case name, but that does not seem to be the issue.

Thanks,

Steve (Camp Horizon)

** Couldn't copy file [/home/"my-account"/cgi-bin/calendarscript/calendars/_template/_notes] **

I don't know where you're getting "_template" and "_notes". AFAIK, CalendarScript doesn't have nor create directory names starting with an "_" character.

If you have Frontpage installed, it does, although I don't know how that would affect this script (I don't do Windows?).

Maybe someone else can suggest where your problem is?
