Does anyone know why I would be having trouble logging into the Administration page ?    (i.e.  mysite.org/calendar/calendar_admin.pl )

The calendar has been working fine for over a year (using v3.21), but now I cannot get past the login page.  It gives a continuous loop when trying to login.  After I type in the login and password, it shows that I am logged in.  But when I push the Continue button, it goes back to the login screen in a continuous loop.

Same problem with different browsers (IE 6.0, and Netscape 7.1).  Using Linux server, CHMODs seem to be ok, standard directories and the debug.pl still shows install is good !

Please advise with any ideas.  I am a big fan of this program.

Thanks in advance,

It sounds like your browser(s) is not accepting the cookies the administration script sets.

My ISP guy helped track it down to a "Quota" in this script that was set to 50MB. He boosted it up to 100MB for now.  BTW, he found the answer in this forum somewhere, so thanks all !

I expect it maxed out because our Calendar administrator has not been deleting old events.  I think I saw something under your Mods area that could help make it more automatic.

Thanks again.

I set up a calendar for a client of mine. I want her to be able to add events herself.  She also is getting a continuous loop trying to login. I also suspected it might be a cookies thing.  How should her cookies be set so I can walk her through this.

There is no simple answer. It would depend on the browser she is using and what its security settings are set to, plus the settings of any additional security software (Norton utilities, etc.) which might be installed. Also, if the script is running in a framed page, that could also affect acceptance of cookies... depending on the browser and its security settings.
