ok i have just taken that past 5 hours trying to get this calendar to work.  The error i'm getting is located on this page http://test.scripts.psu.edu/clubs/up/du/cgi-bin/calendar_admin.pl

The first error is:
An ERROR occurred while trying to continue:
Config file [/.../dce.psu.edu/fs/services/www/scripts/clubs/up/du/cgi-bin/calendarscript/config.txt] could not be opened for writing!

The second error is:
CGISession: Session file [/.../dce.psu.edu/fs/services/www/scripts/clubs/up/du/cgi-bin/calendarscript/session/1615764716.txt] could not be opened for writing!

The permissions are set correctly (all files and subdirectories in /calendarscript/ are set to 777).  Even when I run debug.pl i get this error:

There was a problem creating a temp file in the 'session' directory. Make sure that the directory has correct permissions!.
The error was: Permission denied
Once this problem is fixed, please re-run this debugger to check for any further errors!

Please someone help me!!!

** could not be opened for writing! ... could not be opened for writing! **

Sounds like a permissions error. Sounds like a permissions error.

Although make sure the paths are correct to where the files are located on your server.

** The permissions are set correctly (all files and subdirectories in /calendarscript/ are set to 777).  **

Not all servers allow files and directories top be chmod to 777. Check your host's CGI FAQs to see if it is acceptable on their server.

JFYI
