When going to Admin mode
there is a message that says,
"There is currently 1 unapproved event."
But, when I go to Approve Pending Dates
there isn't a date to approve.
All other new dates work but this one won't
resolve itself.
Everything else works well.

That is a deficiency in the script which Matt may address for the next CalendarScript version. You can read more about it and a possible hack for it in the previous forum message "Event Approval Question".

There may be other solutions, try searching the forums. I found that one with a search of "approv date" (without the quotes).

JFYI

Is there any way to clear the non existent dates - when I go into admin, it now says there are three shows to approve but there are none - If the is really only one show pending, it says there are four - so it is now adding three to whatever number is pending.  I'm afraid it's going to keep on building and mess something else up.

** it now says there are three [events] to approve but there are none **

There are none on the event approval screen? Did you make any modifications to the CalendarScript code for that screen??

** Is there any way to clear the non existent dates **

If you've altered the Approve Events screen and those alterations are now responsible for your current situation, you'll either have to change it back or you may need to manually edit the events.txt file and delete the offending dates.

I changed the Approve Events screen so that it would show more fields.   That problem is now fixed.

While trying to fix it i started having trouble with a field i tried to add.  I had a field called 'state' and it stopped working so i tried to delete it and add it again. I get a message that says the field is not in the database.  I changed it to 'State' instead of 'state' and it saved but it doesn't appear in the Event View.

Add where? To the event database?
