Everyone, is there an easy way to upgrade from 3.0 to the newest version?  i don't see any instructions on Upgrading...just how to install from scratch.  Please direct me to the place where it explains this.

Thanks,
Darren

** i don't see any instructions on Upgrading **

There is a file in the upgrade zip file named upgrade.txt which containes this:

quote:
=============
CalendarScript 3.2 UPGRADE <http://www.CalendarScript.com>
(C) Copyright 2001,2002 Scott
=============

Upgrade Notes
=============
The files contained in this distribution are for an UPGRADE ONLY.
These files should be extracted over-top your existing files to upgrade.

READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY
=============
1. Backup your entire directory. DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP!

2. If you have modified the 'default' template set, or the 'oldstyle' template set, rename the directories before upgrading. The upgrade will over-write the templates and you will lose your changes. You can then go into your Calendar Settings and choose your new template name as the one to use for your calendar.

3. If you have modified any of the Admin templates, your changes will be lost. You can rename your Admin template directory temporarily, then compare changed files to see what might need modified.

4. No calendars, events, schedules, users, or config settings will be lost.

5. Extract the files into a temporary location, then copy them over the originals. Make sure the CHMOD settings are still correct, and the calendar should continue to run as before.

If you have any problems with the upgrade, please restore your back and post your details ASAP to the Support Forum at: http://www.CalendarScript.com/support/forum/

DanO,

I don't see this file in the upgrade package.  I downloaded the ZIP file and I see nothing.

Well I posted exactly what was in the upgrade.txt file in the 3.2 upgrade zip file I have so I guess you don't really need it anymore?
