Great job went flawlessly, unlike my hit counter, which totally bombed on "upgrade"

I wish you would put the version # somewhere on the calendar, so we knew which version we had installed,

Thanks,

The reason I don't put the version number is for things like security updates. If there was a security violation in version 5.5, for example, a malicious user could search for that version number and find all the instances on the web where the vulnerable version is running.

Matt,

You could display it in the administration section and/or have separate permissions for viewing it?

Just a thought.

If you look under Feedback/Support in the Admin application, at the very bottom where you can check for a new version, it tells you what version you are running.

okay so how about if I'm running a version which 'doesn't' show me what version I'm on!

What version is that then?

The script version number is written towards the top of the calendar.pl and calendar_admin.pl files. You'll have to open them in a text editor and look.
