i am changing the color scheme of my calendar...and i have changed al the templates and config files, but some pages still show my old background color!  ive even searched the contents of my entire calendar file for the hex number of that background and its nowhere to be found!  where else could it be?

** some pages still show my old background color! **

Which pages?

Maybe your browser or ISP is caching previously viewed web pages and you are still seeing older versions of those particular ones? Have you tried refreshing those pages in your browser and clearing your browser cache?

yeah, its definetely not my cache or a refresh issue.  some of the pages are my main admin page, and my event schedule page.  im sure several other admin pages are the same too...i cant find where its getting it.

To change the background color all you need to do is change the setting in the "Template Display Preferences".  This will change all of the calendar display templates.  To change the background color on the admin pages change it in the "Admin Interface".

The only reason you should manually change the templates (meaning going into them and changing the HTML code, if that is what you are doing) are for layout issues or if you want to display a background image (I have updated my templates to accommodate an image).

If I misunderstood what you said let me know.

The only other thing I can think of is that your changes in the "Template Display Preferences" & "Admin Interface" are not being saved to the config file and the default colors are loading.  Be sure the permissions are set correctly on the config file/dir (allow write/change to the file) and that you are not getting an error when you save the changes.  Also be sure that the templates are calling the correct config file (I believe that it is "preferences.pl" in ver 3.2, but you will need to check as it is different in the different versions).  Other than that I can think of no reason why the pages display the wrong colors.
