Please tell me what path i should use for a SubWeb.
There is no "home" path not "htaccess" and it does not take the "c:\>" prompt..
Should I use path "C:\install.bat www.mywebsite.com  myusername my password /public_html/subwebname/cgi-bin/

or should i use c:|>install.bat www.mywebsite.com  myusername my password home/public_html/subwebname/cgi-bin/

thanks for any assistance...

Sorry but I've never used the batch file. I've always just FTP's the files to the web sites I've installed it at:
quote:
The easiest way I've found to install the script is to unzip the archive locally then upload the complete directory structure using FTP *in ascii mode*. Then chmod the calendar.pl, calendar_admin.pl and debug.pl files to 755 (when even that was necessary).
JFYI

the batch file uses the dos ftp to transfer the file. so you should use a path realtive to your ftp root, not an absolute path.

worked for me, but got into trouble with pc / unix ascii line endings.

i agree with dan, use decent ftp client.
