Is there a way to schedule something from, let's say, Thursday, July 15th @ 10:30pm - Friday, July 16th ending @1:30am?

Meaning, a concert going into the next day starting the night before.  The calendar seems to have a problem scheduling this.  I have to put ALL DAY EVENT to work around this and I don't want to.

** Is there a way ... **

No. Although someone did post previously that he managed to make changes that would allow him to. I don't know if he ever posted the solution but you could try searching the forums to see if you can find the thread about it.

Is there going to be a way to do this?  I mean, this is an important feature for someone who is using this calendar for nightly events like myself.  Please respond and thanks for the original reply.

As I stated, I believe someone did post that they managed to accomplish it.

Whether it will ever be incorporated in the CalendarScript, you'd have to ask Scott (CalendarScript's author). You might also try posting a request in the Suggestions and Ideas forum although I have no idea when the next CalendarScript version will be released.
